    Februllage week 4

What a month! This challenge was fun, inspiring, difficult and sometimes exhausting. I’m accustomed to quick and intuitive collage so having to think more critically and creatively every day was sometimes hard. Trying to come up with an idea each morning was tough so I began to batch brainstorm, meaning I’d think about several collage…

  • week 3 of Februllage- and a sad farewell

    Week 2 of Februllage 2026

Another fun week of collage! I’m finding a better flow now, even though some of the prompts stumped me at first. “Concrete” was one of those. As usual I had many ideas but couldn’t figure out how to manifest the darn thing. Then, as is my new process, I just let go and let materials…

about our papers

We use many types of mediums to transform  ordinary paper into unique, one-of-a-kind  art  papers for use in bookmaking, collage, card making, junk journals and more.

Papers we use include copy paper, recycled brown paper, tissue, vellum, nautical charts, blueprints, and others. We then transform it by dying, bleaching, splattering, painting, stenciling, wrinkling, tearing,      ironing, or baking.  We celebrate the drips, little tears, undissolved pigments, and textures left behind by different drying techniques and often feature them in our projects. Whatever papercraft you pursue, we probably have just the right thing!
